Taxes payable by businesses and the self-employed
Businesses and the self-employed are subject to certain taxes, which vary depending on such parameters as activities, income and legal form. Alongside regional taxes and direct taxes on income, there are also a number of indirect taxes, such as VAT (value-added tax).
Businesses must also distinguish federal, regional and communal taxes.
